Pale brown colour. Aroma has some caramel sweetness and is a little dusty. Flavour is similar. A bit too gassy.

Cask @ in de Wildeman, medium sample. Almost clear copper color, short frothy head. Aroma of toffee and caramel, slight earthy hop. Soft bitterness in taste, toffee and caramel sweetness. Could have been an english bitter as well, but very tasty and well done english styled beer.

Sampled from cask at ’In de Wildeman’. Slightly hazy, brownish red with a tan head. Sweetish-fruity, slightly spicy aroma of some caramel, red fruits, licorice root and juniper. Sweetish-fruity, spicy taste of caramel, nuts, licorice root and juniper, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Interesting, but not really my kind of beer.
