Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home in the company of Dad and Pauline Thursday 25th May 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and it's Round Table tonight. Pours hazy light amber with a large white head, solid with a typical wheatiness, soft mouthfeel, fruity tang. Very good.

Darker amber. Aroma is much yeasty flowery malty caramel with a little banana dough whiff. Taste is cookie dough with yeasty texture. Rather sweet with light bitter yeasty stuff. Slightest booze. Very well rounded and very drinkable. Smooth. Nice.

Krieger Urweiße, Flasche per Post vom Biershop Bayern. - Rotgold, hefetrüb. - In der Nase feine Zitrusfrucht, Banane, Gewürze, ein wenig Rhabarber über sattem toastig-süßen Weizenmalz. - Antrunk elegant zitrusfruchtig und zart bananig, satt weizenmalzig mit weicher Bonbonsüße, Honig und Vanille. Milder rezent, vollmundig, hefeweich. Im Abgang milde, leicht herbale Hopfenherbe. - Sehr rundes, fülliges, weiches Hefeweizen. Für Weizenbierfreunde sicher ein Genuß - mir ist ein Untergäriges lieber. (14.5.2020.)

(bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Present wheat character with a whiff of dark malt, shades of caramel, restrained fruity notes of banana, accompanied by herbal hoppy and yeasty spice. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a creamy carbonation. Soft, even mealy malty base with wheaty notes, caramel and mildly fruity accents, getting slightly stronger towards the mildly sweet and delicately hoppy finish, caramel in the aftertaste. 50cl bottle. Pours hazy dark orange golden colour with a mid-sized creamy good lasting beige head. Aroma of spices, clove, some yeast and caramel. Taste of ripe fruits, clove, caramel, yeast, mild floral hops.
