Our Double Dry Hopped version of Melcher Street, this amped up American IPA features a heavy dose of Mosaic Hops. With a lively appearance of faded golden orange, DDH Melcher offers a massive nose of orange pulp, dried apricot, mango and passionfruit. The palate follows with additional flavors or pineapple and citrus sherbet. The delicate, biscuity malt character is contrasted with a gentle bite of floral hops and a dry finish.

Pours a nice cloudy amber from a can, some lacing. Aroma is amazing, I'm picking up a nice resin, citrus centering on tangerine, a light melon, and a big hit (contrary to the description) of onion and grass. Flavor is all of that and more, a bit of mint and pineapple, maybe pineapple mint! So well-balanced it's almost ridiculous, your mind reels trying to catch one fleeting aroma or flavor note only to notice another one, like a kid on Christmas. Hoo boy, this is a good one.

Tasting at SF, Vancouver, can
Cloudy pale blond color. The aroma is very zesty with some piney resins. The mouthfeel is lean, the malt base is crackery, the hopping is very zesty, some bitter orange peel, and resins in the final.
Aggressive, excellent.

Thanks for organizing Kraddel! 473 ml. can sampled @ “Kraddel does USA tasting”. Canned 24-08-2017 drank 03.09.2017. Hazy orange, uneven white head. Nose is ridiculously thick NE cheese hop with perfect amount of onion / garlic hops thrown in. taste is super thick cheese NEIPA blend with onion / garlic in the back, so thick & hop fluffy, ridiculously rich & hazy. NEIPA perfection, so good.
