Empfehlenswert. (22.10.2024.)

Bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker. Slightly roasty aroma, but really low. Some malt taste, well-drinkable and easy, but not interesting.

Nett.

PS: This is the first beer, which I had to downgrade in "appearance" and "overall" after reading the backside-label. The brewery promotes its beer by saying that they use selected hops and special malts to brew this unique beer. But the ingredients say: ... Hopfenextrakt and Röstmalzbier. So using only cheaper hop-extract and the even more convenient "Röstmalzbier" (a "beer" brewed by a large factory using only roasted malt to sell it to breweries that don’t use special malts for their own brews but want to sell a f.ex. Schwarzbier) but promoting it differently is in my eyes cheating on customers. Ok - they could read the ingredients, but brewing a good Schwarzbier is for me not brewing a Helles or Pils and mixing it with convenient "Röstmalzbier".

Bottle, danke David. Dark brown with a red hue, low off-white lace. Fresh roast aroma. Lightbodied, roasted, a hint fruit, sparkly mouthfeel, dark roasted malt and bitterhop quick finish. Refreshing, but feels a bit thin.

New beer from Sternquell. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest malty, not really roasty. Dry hints in the background. Finish still mild, almost washy. Nothing special.
