Bottled 330 ml (Beer Planet, BB 09/2011)
Mostly clear amber color, small white head. White peppery, fruity (apple, apricot), some alcohol. Medium-bodied. Apple fruity, slightly bitter and sweet-honeyish, grainy-malty flavor. La Caracole house flavors. Not one of their best brews, but acceptable.

33cl bottle. pours golden, white head. aroma, blossom, some floral hops, grainy/wheat with some light fruits. flavors, malty with some sugar, mild touch of spices and hops. Palate remains moderately sweet with some floral notes, dry fruits and a mild spicy finish. Nice and refreshing, a little different for what is advertised as a xmas beer.

Bottle at Le Poechenellekelder. Pours amber/dark with off-white head. Heavy sweet cooked fruit aroma. Medium body, mild carbonation. Fruity. Like apple, citrus and peach. A bit spicey. Light bitter finish. Nice.

Head disappearing as soon as formed; unclear orange-brownish beer. Spicy nose with pine & rosemary, ginger. Warming up, the coriander from the taste appears as well. Again a spicy taste with the above and coriander. Light, but unmistakable sourishness, citrussy, "thanks to" the infernal weed, ending up dominating everything else. Very light and refreshing for its not unimportant ABV. Ugh. This tastes like it’s a Belgian imitation of an American brew, imitating Belgian beer... Saison, my ***

Tasting at Papsø
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma shows a light but suspicious sourness; spicy Ale. Simple flavor, sweetish and honeyish malt, spoiled by light sourness and vegetables flavor. Something was wrong with this bottle, even if in the origin it was a reasonable Ale.

Bottled. An dark golden beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemon, yeast, hops, and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lots of yeast, some milk, and spices, leading to a smooth lightly spicy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours golden with the slightest haze and a rough white head. Lovely spicy/fruity nose with a little yeast. Medium body, fruit, spices, yeast, vitamin C and a metallic whiff. Lightly tart. A fresh one. 030410

Light orange color with a medium white head that settles quickly; not much lacing. Aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon, background of citrus. Flavor has yeast/bread, light spices and orange peel. A bit thinner that expected for this style of beer. Not a bad winter beer, but pales in comparison to its peers.
