Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Had this an age and it’s just past it’s bbd. Deep amber colour. Soft haze. Thick and creamy, lasting, just off white head. Nose has studded orange. Some floral honey. Some toffee. Taste is mostly sweet, with a herbal bitterness. Medium body. Foamy carbonation. Spicy and herbal finish. An oddity.

Vom Fass bei der 500 Jahre ReinheitsVERBOT Party im Stone Brewing Berlin 2016-04 getrunken. Was für spannende Zutaten - Der eher süße bayrische Senf duftet schon in der Nase. Am Gaumen gleicht der Honig den Hopfen bei diesen golden Bier komplett aus. Spannend und überraschend lecker. Das Bier macht hungrig auf Bratwurst.

And again a 0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Big big thank you! Honey mustard, okay ... A murky red golden in the glass, small head. Low mustard and citrus on the nose. Taste has present mustard, sweetness in the first sequence, later some malt in the background. Sorry, not my cup of tea.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, orangey, pale golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Rather horseradish than mustard aroma in the beginning, mild peppery spiciness of radish, horseradish esp. creamed horseradish ("Sahnemeerrettich"); later a basic layer of mustard (mustard seed and vinegar) becomes established. Taste has initially equally more horseradish than mustard resemblance, transforms via Bavarian sweet mustard to honey; finally the waning complexity reveals the basic mustard layer again; moderately sweet honey finish, minimally sticky palate. Well balanced, integrated and harmonious.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Interesting aroma, intense sweet notes of honey. Starts quite malty, quite sweet, a lot of honey. Only very light mustard notes. Much more honey. Light dry background. Finish dominated by sweet-malty notes. Definetely an interesting beer, but too sweet for me.

On tap at the brewpub. Leicht trübes dunkel goldenes Bier mit mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch nach Senf, leicht scharf, geringe Süße. Geschmack süß malzig, Honig, würzig, Senf, leichte schärfe, interessant.
