Low in ABV, not in character, Sunshine On Keith is an American session IPA, brewed in Speyside, and incredibly popular in Edinburgh!

Sunshine on Keith is our best-selling hit, packed with citrusy, American hops to give a flavour hit well above what you’d expect for 3.5% ABV. It’s zesty and refreshing, with a fantastic fruity aroma, and a lingering, pronounced bitterness, with deep grapefruit flavours. Perfect for long summer afternoons in a beer garden, or at the beach.

Malts: Munich, Wheat.
Hops: Northern Brewer, Cascade, Nugget, Rakau.

Decent easy drinkable session ipa. Especially at this alcohol level.
Not that thin texture.
Pale malt, fruity, herbal and citric.

330ml bottle from Rheged. Golden colour, thin white head and aroma of malt, grains, straw, citric. Taste is malty, grainy, some hay, straw, alittle citrus and metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK

Keg at McGregors bar Inverness, 25/02/23. Clear golden amber with a good sized lasting just off white head. Nose is pale malts, straw, herb, toasted grains, faint citric notes. Taste comprises big caramel tones, sweet malts, hint of orange, sweet. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a faint leafy hop bitter edge. Looks and feels good but lacks any real depth at the business end and weighs in far to sweet and lacking any bitterness.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and a hint of burnt rubber. Flavour of lemon and tonic water. Thin to medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. It’s fine but a bit sharp and raw.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear deep golden, with an off-white head. Vague nutty, light body. Discreetly hoppy. No way a Session IPA as the bottle claims - this is a straight well made Bitter. 240719
