It’s zesty and refreshing, with a fantastic fruity aroma, and a lingering, pronounced bitterness, with deep grapefruit flavours. Perfect for long summer afternoons in a beer garden, or at the beach.

Bottle from Inverurie Whisky Shop. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, floral, elderflower, pretty juicy, straw and a touch of citrus. The is crisp, dry, clean, good hit of bitterness, straw, zesty grapefruit, pithy lemon, minerals and grass with a firmly dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. More hops than expected with a decent bitterness.

Cask handpull at The Berry Walmer. Clear gold lasting white head. Lightish in mouth but almost some honey and lemon flavour. Touch of lime on thd finish. Certainly hoppy. A little wheat. Vague soap. Odd. Didn’t expect this. Good bitterness on the finish. odd but entertaining in mouth. Good condition

500ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy, slightly zesty aroma, notes of tangerine, hints of orange, a touch of lemon yoghurt, biscuity malty background. Taste is citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon zest, hints of tangerine, slightly biscuity, pale malty background, a touch of lemon biscuit and lemon yoghurt; a minimally chalky touch in the finish, slightly watery throughout. Nice and refreshing.

On cask at the sraf. Golden with no head. Citrus but grainy on both nose and taste. Fairly balanced but could be more exciting.
