A strong Tripel beer inspired by the 1933 classic King Kong. As a little treat for the 8th wonder of the world, we added a crate of coconut. The taste of wild banana was created by fermentation at high temperature. A beer with a roar. But remember: many good men have challenged King Kong, none stood to tell the story.

Tap at the Lentebier Festival, Grote Markt, Den Haag, 2016. Poured a hazy orange amber with a thin white head. The aroma is banana, light orange peel. The flavour is light sweet with a light alcohol, yeast, citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap from Rootz at Grote Markt festival. Quite hazy orange golden with short lasting white head. Coconut water, grains, lots of leaves, rotten coconut, nasty bitter sour/fermented leaves. Under medium sweet with a strong and long lasting horrible bitter finish with a light sourness. Over medium bodied. Couldn’t handle more than two sips. Smells ok but the taste is really really nasty...
