A strong Tripel beer inspired by the 1933 classic King Kong. As a little treat for the 8th wonder of the world, we added a crate of coconut. The taste of wild banana was created by fermentation at high temperature. A beer with a roar. But remember: many good men have challenged King Kong, none stood to tell the story.

Sweet malt aroma. Hazy light amber color, small head. Sweet and obvious alcohol notes. Medium body, a little bitter finish.

Bottle, courtesy of Summer Santa Benzai. Some candy aroma and sweetness, but besides that rather mellow in taste and aroma. Lots of foam, but a rather soft carbonation after all. Medium lasting finish, neither sweet nor dry, some marshmallows (which I don’t like). This beer has not so much to offer.

Pours clear amber. Ok white head. Smell is unripe malts , some maderization, but in a rotten way. Tastr is sweet, some fruity undertone ( overripe ) as well as unfresh malts. Not very Nice

THANKS for the sample! Shared together with Benzai. Cheers! Sampled draft @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2016. Hazy golden, creamy white. Nose is rather metallic, esters, touch banana and sugar. Taste is sweet Belgian esters, sugar, milky, sweet banana, metallic. Creamy & metallic. Okay-ish not very exciting Belgian tripel, a bit too metallic, didn’t get the coconut at all.

Draught @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2016. Lightly hazy golden color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste some malts, wet hay, herbs or spices, spicy hop on the distance, sweetish. Decent body and carbonation. A bit too much weird herbal flavor for me to like it.

Small snowwhite head, kept alive by lively carbonated coldhazed golden beer. Bit spicy, yeasty nose, mixed malts. Seem to get some coriander, coconut maybe because it’s suggested. Again mainly spicy. Main taste has a light to medium sweetness that, again, has a hint of coconut, more warming up. Finish has a faint if pleasant acidity, enhanced by the carbonation. Warming up, however, the sweetness keeps growing to the edge of cloying. Medium bodied. Would have called it clean palate, if it weren’t for the rather heavy sweetness. Average.

Not too tripely, that's good. Some hoppyness, some hefe, plenty banana.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016, thanks Marko! Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, cloves, honey and Belgian yeast. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of banana, honey, clove and vanilla, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Really nice!
