FF Dekoorc Eert

Bottle. Pour is a nice brownish gold with a medium-sized head and aromas of lemon peels. Flavor is light and refreshing with a cat pee and lemon hoppiness to it that is clean and balanced. Not sure if I really get into this beer or not, it seems kind of boringly middle-of-the-road IPA, but definitely a cool concept.

Sample at the Hills Market beer tasting on 07/25/2013. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, roast malt and fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Rustico, Arlington tap: Pours copper color with whitish head. Aroma is grass, earth, bit of pine, and mellow fruitiness. Taste is pretty much up the same alley. Moderate bitterness. Bit of sweetness. A good IPA, but nothing incredible. I don’t complain about the lack of citrus because I like it when things are mixed up.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazed orange amber with some small particles and a slightly off-white head. Mild floral and biscuit aroma. Some floral grassy hop flavors, citrus, with a pale malt base. Honestly, not that impressed with my first one from the variety pack.

Split a 12oz bottle with mcart034 a week or so ago. Poured a clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma was some herbal notes, caramel malts, with some grassy hops. Touch of tropical fruit notes. Not too bad.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/5/2013. Pours cloudy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big pineapple, passionfruit, grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, lemon zest, floral, pine, grass, caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop notes with moderate malt balance. Taste of pineapple, pine, grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, bread, caramel, and floral earthiness. Sizable pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, pine resin, citrus, citrus zest, floral, grass, caramel, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice flavor balance and complexity of hop notes with light-moderate malt balance; with minimal cloying bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. Good balance and complexity of hop flavors with solid malt balance; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle pour to shaker. Pretty mild. My least favorite of the three Crooked Tree single hops, but still good.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a near clear orange gold with a white head that lasts throughout hte beer. Aroma has a nice balance of pine, citrus and grassiness backed by a grain note. Flavor is more dank with a bit of onion and pine with an earthy sweet grain backing.
