Ein durch und durch stimmiges Vollbier. Relativ stabile Schaumkrone, getreidig, etwas blumiger Hopfen, passende Balance aus Süße, Säure und leichter Hopfenbittere. Ungemein süffig.

(Draught at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm, 12 Oct 2024) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with lasting white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, grass, citrus and herbal hops. Malty taste with notes of bread, grass, citrus, grain and a gentle herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and well balanced. Nice one.

50cl Fles van Bierothek Bamberg. Heldergouden kleur, witte kraag. Moutig, witbrood, hint van honing, licht grassig, hint van citroenschil, medium zoet, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. OK.

ABV: 5.2%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt, biscuit malt, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, biscuit malt, hay, straw, grass, hops bitter, crispy hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20230121]

Bottle from Frank. Many thanks! Clear golden colour, white foam. Lots of carbonation. Malty, light hoppy, some grassy and citrussy notes. Good but too much carbonation.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is cereals, juicy fruits, a bit grainy. Taste is the same, on the heavier side of Vollbier. Quite chewy. Mineraly bite, sparkly carbonation. Not bad!
