24/12/2018. Bottle from a store near the cruise passenger terminal in Puerto Montt. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate, malt, nut, toffee, moderate toasting and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily and watery texture, bit above average carbonation. Started strongly, but faded quickly.

33cl bottle. Pours dark reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark malt, mild sweetness, nuts and caramel. Taste of nuts, caramel, some reddish fruits, red malt, a bit artifical, nothing special.

330ml bottle. Almost black with dark ruby glimmer and average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Weak, sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, hints of corn and bamboo, a touch of molasses and treacle. Taste is dry, minimally grainy, hints of corn, a touch of rock sugar and treacle. Light & monotonous.

Bottle either on or best before 3/20/2014, drunk 7/24/16.
Clear, mahogany-ruby body shows no signs of carbonation.
Melanoidins, chocolate notes and light char, with soft caramel and lots of minerality. Slight lactic edge...
Heavily lactic character dominates with light DMS and very little maltiness. Ummm, very dry at least, though there are traces of syrupiness. Just an unclean, grainy, sour, astringent character.

Willrunforbeer with this 330cl bottle. Dark brown color, no head. To be really fair, this bottle has sat around awhile. Aroma is caramel, light nuts, hint of yeast.

For the age, it still is somewhat drinkable. Yeast and burnt caramel flavor. Body is medium. Not awful.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Yochai. Clear deep amber with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, fruits, toast and nuts.. Sweet flavor, caramelly, a bit fruity, with nutty notes, light oxidation and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Medium brown with thin head. Aroma of caramel, mostly. Sweet palate with some dark sugar notes and probably a bit too much diacetyl.
