Bottle at THT. Dark brown with beige head. Lots of licorice, strong herbs, coriander, ginger, brown sugar, dry mineral and dusty notes, some roasted malts. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit watery feel. A bit too herbal for me.

Bottle from Buchanan’s Bistro. It pours black with decent light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malts, dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, chai latte and orange peel. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, umami, festive spice and orange peel with a gently spiced finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well balanced and rather quaffable. Well judged.
