Sample, thanks to Kolshtrinker! Pours clear deep mahogany, big brandy nose. Taste is deep complex, layered, warming alcohol, pretty mental in general. Nice gentle acidity. Underneath it all the quince sweetness underpins things, with a good sherry sweetness and burnt caramel. Not like any cider I've ever tried before.

Danke an Erzengel. Vollmundiger, mild süßer Antrunk von Apfel und Holz. Vanille, Barrique, Nuancen von Alkohol, die nicht weiter stören. Trocken, die süßen dunklen Holznoten gefallen. Quitte, Pflaumen, steigende Süße. Langer, zunehmend alkoholischer Nachgeschmack. 10/14/12/13/12/13

Bottle bought in Hamburg. 2014er. Great woody fruity nose. Lots of fruity fresh fruit. Wood, fruits, great and deep. Long deep fruity aftertaste. Fantastic.

Bottle shared with Erzengel! A clear deep amber colour. Aroma of overriped apples, riped berries, sugar. Taste of intense sweet riped apples, vanilla, oak, boozy, quite nice!
