Zuerst hat man frische Früchte und eine deutliche Weinessignote. Die ersten beiden Schlucke sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, dann entwickelt sich das ganze aber. Die frischen Früchte bleiben, der Essig tritt ein, zwei Schritte zurück. Jetzt kommen auch Getreide- und vor allem Hefenoten schön raus. Fast das halbe Glas ist leer, dann fallen einem auch (für ein Weißbier) deutliche Bitternoten im Mittel- und Endteil auf. Interessant und sehr erfrischend - dürfte aber nicht jedem sofort schmecken. Ich steh aber drauf.

Ratebeer Odense Lager After Easter Tasting. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Spicy aroma of clove with a touch of banana. Sweet malty flavour with clove and band aid.

50cl Bottle @ Franken. Served @ Ratebeer Odense Spring Tasting, 2023. Pours hazy golden orange with a frothy white head. Medicine cabinet, cloves and overripe banana.

Schnapp-Fläschla: Deep golden with an orangey sheen, cloudy, medium-sized and quite stable white head, mild sourish-sweet yeasty-fruity and wheaty nose, traces of necrotic yeast detectable; mild sweetish-sourish flavour, almost medium bodied, soft MF; shorter yeasty and wheaty finish. Not bad, just a bit one-dimensional...

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Smooth fresh and slightly grainy beginning. Easy to drink, mild and smooth with not too much yeast or fruitiness. The Weizen aroma is there, very dry with not too much depth. For a Bavarian Weizen a bit too neutral.

Trocken hefiger Beginn. Milde Noten von Nelken, moderat würzig, zunehmend bananig. Spritzig, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, passend. Süffig, langer Nachhall. 8/8/9/9/8/9
