Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with hardly any head at all. Interesting aroma of roast blending in with what appears like sour cherries - and a hint of smoke. Rich, sweet roast, bordering flat, then some berry tartness and some malt astringency. An interesting beer for sure, but that doesn't always equal delicious. And in all honesty I don't think I can drink an awful lot of this. 120319

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Fruity smooth beginning. Very soft and round, smooth with a deep and chocolate cherry bitterness. Round and refreshing, smooth with dark dry cherries, still very juicy-fruity and nice bitter chocolate. The bitterness is not too deep, round and smooth, very nice fruity.

33cl bottle from my Secret Santa VDuquerroux, many thanks! A black beer with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet cookies, chocolate, vanilla. Taste of strong dark sweet malt, chocolate, cookies, vanilla, some liquorice, sticky, nice!

0,33l bottle at home. No obvious BB date. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, licorice, marzipan, nutty, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, licorice, berry notes, smoke, lightly peated, nutty, marzipan. finishes lightly acidic with notes of berries, earthy and nutty notes. overall decent but balance is rather off, a bit weird, also some oxidation notes.
