Danke an anstei. Süffiger, trocken röstiger Beginn mit eher wässrigem Hintergrund. Minimal Schokolade, zu starke Karbonisierung. Süffig, zunehemend schokoladig, zu süß. Okay. 10/7/8/7/8/7

Bottled, thanks Bov! Near black, rich beige head. Rich coffee aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel - excessive carbonation. Coffee and dark chocolate. Low bitterness.

Bottle sample @ Tilquin English Beerfest 2018. Thanks Beerhunter111. BB 05/06/2018. Brune, col beige.

5/V/18 - sampled @ Tilquin English Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2018-636) Thanks to the Belgian ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!
Pretty clear dark brown beer, aery irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, spicy, some yeast, coffee, charcoal, caramel, sweetish, very malty, some banana. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty start, roasted, some ripe banana. Aftertaste: more malts, bit fruity, some banana, very yeasty, not a big fan of this one...

Tap at Blackwell Opening. Pours black with a decent beige head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate, but rather soft and low, but still pleasant. Body is medium, metallic, sweet, roasted. Decent malt body, soft carbonation. Tasty. Long roast flavoured palate. Good!
