0,33 l swing top bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear dark golden in the glass, small fast fading white head. Low malty smell. Taste? Some malt at the start. Unpleasant alcoholic with some dry bitter sourness, hints of apples. Low carbonated. Can not really convince.

Danke an Erzengel. Pappiger Geruch. Trockener, leicht holzig-pappiger Beginn mit hell bockigen Noten. Leider bleibt ein pappiger Eindruck vorhanden, kaum Volumen, kurzer Nachhall. Okay. 11/8/8/8/9/8

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. Smooth malty beginning. The beer is smooth with a nice Heller Bock aromatic. Moderate bitter, round and grainy, nice.

33cl swing top bottle shared with Erzengel! A clear dark golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of semi strong pale malt, straw. Taste of mid sweet grainy malt, straw, hints of honey.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts strong, malty, wheaty-spicy. Mild alcoholic. Finish could be more balanced. Malty-spicy and some woody-grasy notes. Not my favourite.

Fortært på rom 304 i Hotel Intercity, Göttingen 10 Mar 12. Gyldenbrun. Lavt farget skum. Søt fruktig aroma. Smaken er søt malt med en fruktig undertone. En syrlig touch i ettersmaken.

Thanks for the bottle pivnizub. Orange amber, off-white layer. Sweet sticky dried fruit nose. Solid sweet base, a bit hay, dust and wood. Enough herbal bittering hops to prevent it from becomming cloying. Sweet almondy finish, light rumtopf retronasal. Meh.

(33cl swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a big eggshell-coloured foamy head. Sweet biscuity malt aroma with a tinge of lemon and herbal, slightly spicy hops. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Strong pale and cara-malt character, bready taste; the alcohol comes up towards the finish, combined with a quite harsh hoppy bitterness. Aromatic smell but the beer is lacking balance (22.02.08).

Bügelverschlußflasche (333ml): Deep golden coloured, smaller, rather quickly vanishing white fluffy head; shy bisquity nose with a tinge of hops and a tinge of vegetables, too; moderate to stronger bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering bitter, sweet and slightly alcoholic finish. Not very aromatic, not very well rounded, but all in all a quite well drinkable "souped-up Pils"......
