UPPER CASE has a delicate, dry pilsner malt character with a smooth, soft, doughy mouthfeel from the raw wheat, oily hop resin which all serves as a canvas for this twice dry hopped 9% double IPA. Overipe mango, pineapple and passion fruit aromas leap out as the beer is poured. The impression of tropical fruit also takes the lead in the flavor which is layered further by white wine, pine resin and grapefruit zest. Hopped primarily with Mosaic with supporting roles played by Galaxy, Citra and Columbus.

ABV: 9%

MALT: Pilsner, Flaked Wheat, C-15, Dextrine, Dextrose

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: pale yellow cloudiness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: piney/resinous hop tones up front with a mixed tropical fruity hop tone backing up that part up then with some subtle tangerine to orangey hop tones after that; slight sweet oaty-like malts
Flavor: mostly takes the prior noted aromas to a sweet juicy to bittersweet juicy quality; finishes very tangerine to piney/resinous and a touch of mango-ish hints
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also a light hop oily vibe strolling across the tongue then a light dryness
Overall: an extremely well done NEDIPA well worthy of coming back to.

Can from Great Grog. Hazy deep golden body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of passionfruit, pine and peach. Flavour of peach and lemon sponge. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Very drinkable for a punchy, high ABV beer.

Can from RAD shared in Bourne. Deep cloudy golden colour with a white had. Aroma and taste are tropical fruity, dried fruit and juicy sweet, slight dank. Full body but fairly boozy.

473ml can, thought I'd had this before but it was actually Cloudwater's Freaky Friday version so it's nice to finally try the OG. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of mango, pineapple, dank tones. Taste of ripe mango, pineapple, pithy grapefruit, dank, piney bitterness. Medium bodied with a boozy finish.

Can. Beer Stop Dronfield. Jesus there’s some boost here. Murked up glowing pale gold. Super solid sticky white foam. Looks boss. Super sweet mango and ripe pineapple smoothie up front. Bit of strawberry. Plenty of sweet malts. Plenty of boost. Taste is sticky sweet with a late onset of pithy zesty ripe oranges bitterness. Slick and full bodied but stays pretty unputdownable overall. Big bitter finish offsets the smoothie thing nicely. Posh tramp juice.

Grapefruit and lemon mostly. I feel like this would have stood out a lot more like 4 years ago. Still good but the Trillium I had last week was a little better. Murky yellow pour with decent head. Light tang in the finish. Tap at Churchkey.
