As ÜberQuell Schubidu Imperial Stout. 0.33 l bottle from BierLaden Berlin, shared with little Dina and Fates_11. Malty aroma: chocolate, nutty and lightly toasty. Bittersweet roasty flavour, balanced. Medium body, soft carbonation, quite smooth.

--Bottled at ÜberQuell, Hamburg. -- Black with creamy head. Aroma of chocolate and licorice. Mid sweet with near full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate and licorice. Quite bitter finish.

Dark brown color with light brown head. Caramel, malt, coffee, chocolate aromas. Light bitterness and sweetness. Average to full body, bit sticky, light carbonated.

ÜberQuell Schubidu Imperial Stout, Fläschchen aus dem Kalea Craft Beer Advent Calender 2021. - Tiefschwarz, dunkelbeigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase schweres Stout-typisches Röstmalz mit feiner Hafersüße aber aromatisch gedämpft, nur leise Anklänge an Asche. - Antrunk fett röstmalzig mit schwerer Mokkabittere, dunkler Brotkruste, Asche und langer krautiger Hopfenbittere mit feinen zitronigen Spitzen. Schöne Süße. Gut rezent, gar nicht so breit aber weich. Im Abgang satt dunkelmalzbitter und solide krautig-hopfenherb - der Etikettspruch Hopfen hat mal Pause stimmt mal gar nicht. - Sehr schönes, wuchtig malziges aber rundes Imperial Stout mit schöner Hopfen-Abrundung. ABV: 7.7%. Dark dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, light cake, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, light sweet licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200416]

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with minimal ruby glimmer and average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Relatively weak, roasty dark malty and slightly fruity hoppy aroma, hints of cocoa and dark chocolate, a touch of cherry and red berries. Taste is dry, slightly bitter and minimally sweet, roasty dark malty and slightly fruity hoppy, hints of dark chocolate, cocoa, cherry, red berries; minimally woody, dry finish. Watery texture, somehow metallic, repellent palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Not overly dry; the chocolately flavours in combination with the slightly sweet fruitiness remind of Schwarzwälderkirschtorte or, at least, kirschwasser-impregnated chocolate biscuit without the cream. Nice.

0,33 l bottle, labeled with 7.7% abv. Nearly black in the glass with a more than two finger beige head. Choco roasted malty smell. Tastes also with choco and roasted malt, some fruity elements with sweetness. Low carbonated. Smooth, not as dry as expected. Nice.
