Pivo s plnou sladovou chutí, jemnou harmonickou hořkostí a silným řízem. Bezlepkové pivo Ferdinand je obdobou klasického dvanáctistupňového světlého ležáku Premium. Můžou si ho však vychutnat i lidé s celiakií.
Ležák testovalo několik akreditovaných laboratořích a patří do licenčního systému ELS, který je jednotný ve všech evropských zemích. Podle protokolů o zkoušce vzorku je obsah lepku méně než 10 mg/l, přičemž legislativní limit je 20 mg/l. Pšeničného prolaminu (gliadinu) v něm najdete méně než 5 mg/l.
Základem piva je český ječný slad z humnové Sladovny Ferdinand. Doplňují ho chmely Magnum, Premiant a Žatecký poloraný červeňák.

Classic lager. Thin bod, med-high carbo. Med bitter, low sweet, dry. Light honeyish bready malt, light grassy herbal hops. Could use more hops. Med-light oxidation, but whatever. Good for what it is.

# 4328; 8/2024. Malty, metalic, herbal and slightly cardboard aroma. Brilliant deep gold body; very long lasting white head. Herbal, light corny and metalic. Aveage bohemian lager, very good for gluten-free beer. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, somwhere in Bohemia, CZ.

Bottle, 5.0%. Citric aroma, hint of white bread. Clear dark golden colour. Big stable rocky chalk white head. The flavour is nicely malty but strangely citric. Strange notes of type fruit and paper. Chalky finish.

Lahev (Albert, Arkády Pankrác): Clear, golden, stable and lacy creamy white head, mild dryish herbal to flowery hoppy nose with an even milder grainy-malty background, delicate metallic traces presumably detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; slightly lingering bitter-Saazy finish with sweetish-worty spots in the aftertaste. Average Czech pivo, but excellent gluten-free stuff. The absence of gluten (bezlepkový means gluten-free) is hardly detectable. Českému pivu zdar...

Der Trend zu glutenfreien Bier ist auch nach Tschechien gekommen. Es ist das klassische 12-grädige Helle der Brauerei, nur in glutenfreier Form. Dabei leidet der Geschmack nicht unter dem Fehlen von Gluten. Für Allergiker sicher ein gutes Bier.
