(Draught at Protokoll, Berlin, 20 July 2018) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with crisp-bread, roasted malt, grain and apricots. Malty taste with notes of dark bread, apricots, roasted malt and a mild grassy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Draught at Protokoll, Berlin. Hazy, light amber colour with a creamy off white head. Spicy aroma with peppers, caramel malts, fruits, bonfire and grasses. Bacon. Taste is light sweet. Drying fruity finish with bonfire and fruity smoked notes. Nice Smoked - no where close to a pils.

1000ml bottle, thanks TImo A. Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of malts, earthiness, caramel, hints of smoke and leather. Taste is smooth, slightly wheaty and yeasty with some earthiness, caramel, hints of smoke and leather. Finish is smooth, sweetish and slightly stuffy with some earthiness, smoke and wheaty yeastiness. Decent, quite typical Pax bier.
