A stein full of traditional Märzen offered in anticipation of those days filled with sausage, pretzels, and a table full of friends. Our brewers put all the time and care into this long-lagered beauty using traditional German ingredients and methods. Smooth, toasty flavor and the inviting aromas of hearth-baked bread, finishing with just enough Noble hop character to keep you coming back for another round. One of our most popular food-pairing beers, or worthy of a hearty "prost!" on its own.

Optisch Kupfer, kein Schaum, wenig Carbo. In der Nase Karamell, im Trunk ebenso, würzig, bittersüß, aber sehr dezent, gute Drinkability, fast schon süffig, passt.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit and bready malt. Slick body, raisin, biscuit, light dry finish, very good.

Clear golden, thin, tan head. Aroma of yeast, cellar, dust, apple peel, plum, banana. Taste has sweet apple & pear, biscuit, grain & yeast. Yeasty, dusty, malty finish with soft grassy hops. Light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Pretty decent.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear amber with a finger of off-white head that lingers. Toasted caramel, toffee, bread and light pepper on the nose. Smooth on the palate with honey and werther's original candy notes. Light pepper on the finish, but smooth and balanced.

12oz can. Pretty darn classic Marzen. I'm sure it is slightly better on tap, in bottles, but can is what I got. Really nails it, amber malt incorporated around Munich malts. Quite enjoyable, balanced.
