Tap at the Clybourn brewpub. Poured a deep mahogany with a broken off white head. The aroma is weak dry yeast and resin. The flavour is smoky weak sour with a dry pepper spicy palate. Sounds great but was pretty awful.

Draft sampled at Goose Island Clybourn. Pours near black with a ring beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, oak, caramel, overripe fruits and light nuts. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, some pepper in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
