Holledauer Florian von der Schmidmayer Bräu, leider nur aus der Flasche - beim Bräustüberl in Siegenburg stand ich mittags vor verschlossener Tür. - Satt goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase zart karamelliges helles Malz und feine hopfenwürzige Herbe, etwas Orangenschale. Antrunk fein brotig-karamellig hellmalzig mit leichter orangenfruchtiger und blasser hopfenwürziger Herbe. Zarte Süße. Spritzig & schlank. Im Abgang sehr milde Hopfenherbe. Etwas leerer Nachtrunk. - Leicht und süffig aber ein wenig blaß (wenngleich aromatisch) gehopft. (11.5.2022.)

bottle. Very light grass and flower hop nose. Pale golden with chillhaze, white head. Light sweet hayish aroma. Medim body, sweet cake base, light fruit, pleasant flowery hop aromatics, dry sparkly body. No firework, but pleasant.

The bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts mild, modest spicy, some hoppy notes in the background. Then more and more dry, some metallic notes. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad!

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Golden, hazy, mid-sized lacy and fluffy head; mild herbal-hoppy nose with clean pale-malt underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied and very soft; shy noble hops and sweet pale malt in the finish. Very pleasant, soft beer........

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a loose foamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with citric aroma hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth and well-matured mouthfeel. Slightly sugary malty taste with notes of biscuits and honey-fruity notes; sweet and shy bitter malt-accented finish with shy fruity and herbal hops. A bit sweet but anyway pleasant to drink 04.IX.09

bottle bought at a Getränkemarkt near the brewery. Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty, slightly hoppy with hints of sweetcorn and honey. Rounded-off by some resiny hops. Well-balanced and well-crafted Helles.
