On tap at the brewpub in Plattling, Monday 15th December 2025, after a complete debacle trying to get parked at the station, but DB parking machine not working and parking app also failed. We have eventually parked at the Wohnmobilstellplatz. Anyway this is our first time in here because the opening hours haven't worked for us until now, it's busy tonight and we're on the Stammtisch. Pours dark conker brown a little murky with an off white, mmhhh....perhaps cappuccino coloured head. Nutty flavour, smooth, caramel easy drinking, decent carbonation. Good.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy dark amber beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramelish malt, nuts, corn. Taste of corn, caramel, grainy malt.

"Plattlinger Dunkel", 4,9 %, Flasche direkt vom Bräu zur Isar. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase flaues, süßliches dunkles Malz. Die Whisky-Assoziationen, die andere hier erschnuppern, sind - wenn überhaupt - nur extrem verdünnt feststellbar. - Im Antrunk limonadenartig süßes dunkles Malz mit Anklängen an Lakritz und Cola. Nur zarte Herbe, eigenartige Noten wie von matschigem Obst, Anklänge an unreife Banane. Wenig rezent, etwas schal bzw. wäßrig. Im Abgang viel zu knappe Hopfenherbe. - Weichlich-süßes, zu dünnes Dunkles ohne Körper und Tiefgang. Wenig bemerkenswert.
