bottle from meibier.de. Golden colour, tall white head. Lovely hoppy nose. Malty base, pleasant sweetness, lots of resiny-herbal hops, bitter-sweet overall character. Delicious and very moreish.

Grobe Schaumkrone. Weich herber, hell süßmalziger Antrunk. Wenig würzig, die Herbe wird einen Ticken stärker, insgesamt bleibt die Aromatik aber konstant. Süffig, kein Hopfen, auf Dauer monoton. Zum Ende schnell abflachend. Hat man schnell wieder vergessen. 6/8/11/8/8/8

50cl bottle. A almost clear pale yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of metallic hops, grainy malt, spicy hops. Taste of spicy bitter hops, grains, pale malt, long spicy bitter finish.

Bottle. Hersbrucker nose? Pale yellow to golden, a hint hazy, huge white head. Dry, medium light bready base, grassy hops, uncomplicated, sparkly dry and chewy. Fresh grape and grass finish, quite drinkable.

Bottle, many thanks pivnizub! Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, light hops, some sulphuric yeast. Taste is pale malts, classic Zwickel flavours, light fruity hops, some sulphur in the back, light lemony. Light-bodied, oily mouthfeel with very soft, medium-high carbonation. Quaffable.

€-Fläschla: Pale golden, hazy, stable medium-sized creamy head with a good lace, moderate bitter-sweet grainy nose with mild but distinctive lemony-spicy hops in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and fraenkisch-soft; lingering grainy-malty finish with a soft lemony-hoppy aftertaste. The right one for good franconian Bierkeller sessions...
