Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy pale yellow with a beautiful big, dense and creamy white head. Smells like an amazing fruit juice.. Grapes, peach, sweet. Tastes bizarre. Peach, iced tea, not even remotely sour. Soft to fizzy carbo, thin to medium body. Bizarre beer.

Thx. to Travlr (Gene) from this one. From Gene’s collection of beers that didn’t fit into his suitcase. 375 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. I remember Alejandro telling me that this tastes exactly like keylime pie. Pours golden with a white head. Smell is very sweet candy, sugar, frangipane, lots of sweeteners but not the nastily sour ones & chemical residue ones, these are the good ones. Taste is same as that, sweet, pie, sugar, lots of successful sweeteners, citrus, fruity, banana, sweet herbal. So many additives. Fluffy. This is awesome as a soda but this is not a beer. Still great soda, would like getting something like this instead of Sprite or at least 7-UP.

Hazy pale yellow colour, white head. Rather sickly aroma, overripe fruits, fruity notes, peach, orange peel, light apple and banana. Sweet flavour, overripe fruits, light green banana, candy and sweeteners. Sweet finish, light wheat, light citrus notes.
Bit disappointing.

Hazy golden coloured body with a thick white head that stays atop nicely. Aroma of pale malt, wheat, tons of coriander seed, yeast, lemons and a sweet and sour note that really persists and smells amazing. Light-bodied; Nice wheat flavour with some light yeast and spices coming through with a hint of grass and hay and a whole bunch more citrus flavours throughout. Aftertaste shows some mild yeast, a little wheat, a hint of coriander seed and a bunch of lemons, oranges, curacao, hay and a hint of sourness. Overall, a nice beer that would have been even better in the midst of summer, not necessarily to bring in the new year! Still, I’m happy I brought this one back from Belgium and I’m happy I cracked it open to celebrate the new year - one to pop the cork! I sampled this 37,5 cL ’split’ bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 30-June-2012 for €3,50 sampled at home in Washington to bring in 2013 and to celebrate my 2012 New Year’s Resolution of running 1000 miles during the course of the year!

375ml bottle. Hazy yellowish golden colour with huge, firm, frothy, lasting, lacing white head. Fruity aroma is a pure peach bomb. Taste is initially slightly dry and sourish, later with fruity peach note in the background. Minimally watery and light bodied.

Bottle from Otsuki. Deep gold with a high, fine head. Fragrant, fruity nose, with lemon, peach, orange, something candy-like and tropical as well Ridiculously sweet, with wheat, orange, coriander. Where’s the lambic? Estery, banana, the lightest tang. Extremely cloying and disappointing. The fruitines in fun, but too unbalanced.

Wässrig brauseartiger Beginn künstlich Zitrus, trocken, Noten wiebei einem Alkoholfreien. Unpassend zitronig-bitteres Finish, minimale Säure. Geht gar nicht! 11/4/5/3/10/3

Huge white head over very carbonated yellow-ochre beer. Perfumed nose, slight wheat and citrus. Disgusting toiletsoap-like, perfumed flavour, coriandersoup, faint bitterish, devoid of acids. Aftertaste more of the same, wheatslickness, sticky. UGH! M.S. used to have a good wheatbeer with their first edition, as tasted on draught @ HvL. This bottled product is a disgrace for this age-old lambicbrewery.
