Bottle, 375ml corked. A hazy one, yellowish-golden in color and with a small, off-white head leaving some lacings. Flowery, lightly peachy and citrusy nose, almost artificial. Semi-sweet flavor with flowers, peaches, sugar and some white sugar. Orange hints. Medium body. Flowery, citrusy and fruity finish. Well, it’s quite quenching, but also rather boring and artificial. Don’t think I’ll revisit it. 120817

Tap @ La Mort Subite as Mort Subite Lambic Blanche. Hazy yellow with a lasting and dense white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, citrus and light spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Sweet finish. Couldn’t detect any lambic. 190712

Where is the lambic? This beer has nothing to do with a lambic, it’s not flat, it’s not sour. It smells fruity and has a bitter artificial taste. Not good.

14/VII/2012 - 37.5cl bottle from Delhaize (supermarket) @ home - BB: 10/IV/13 (2012-720)

Little cloudy yellow beer, small irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, canned peaches, sweet, white grapes, bit metallic, nauseating sweetness, overripe fruits. MF: soft carbon, light body. Taste: little bitter, spices, cough syrup, chemical, reminds me of some sorts of medicinal syrup from when I was a kid. Aftertaste: bit metallic, peach candy, nasty bitterness, medicinal syrup. Man, this is bad.

Bottle from Delhaize, Oostende, Belgium, Saturday 9th June 2012 consumed at home Thursday 14th June 2012 hazy dirty gold, yellowy colour with a white billowing head. Sweetness and floral on the nose, some vanilla and a spiciness with the wheatiness showing. I wish this had more of a lambic tang and dryness about it, I find it too sweet and lacking bite, but it is ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

37.5cl bottle @ Delhaize. This might be a similar version to the regular witte? BB 12/04/2013. Ever felt like drinking a keylime pie? this might be it.
