Can won from The Understudy, South Bank. It's a gusher. The foam head attempts to flee it's dark opaque body. Roasty aroma. Dark coffee. Liqourice. But what really comes through is cocoa powder. Medium-heavy bitter with some tart sourness. Matches the aroma with added dark berries. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation more evident into the long dry astringent finish. Good stuff. Packs a punch.

Can shared in London - cheers to Colin. Pours clear brown with a frothy, tan head. Good stuff, some nice ashy roast, bitter dark chocolate, scorched earth. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Ashy bitter finish, more cocoa. Sound.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Cloin foe the can. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, a decent fine minerally crispness. Mellow dark malts. Thin dark chocolate. Tangy dark chocolate biscuit. Bitter dry dark chocolate finish. A bit dry and bitter, don't hate it.
