“She’s an easy lover,” so Phil Collins once said. And there’s nothing more lovable than this easy-drinking Pale Ale. We’ve brewed our bubbly Brut with champagne yeast to make it refreshing, light and spritzy. Perfect for a long summer’s day session.

330ml can: BB 6th Aug 2020, brewed in Belgium (at De Proef for beer 52). Drank at home on 2nd Oct 2019. Very pale urine yellow with a swiftly fading white head. Watery, bland, slightly bitter/bretty and boring. My first and hopefully last beer from the Mothership.

This is... alright. You don't expect anything necessarily punchy from a Brut pale but this is all just a bit tame. Decent zestiness and the Brut yeast leaves it smooth and soft but could do with a bit more flavour.

Can picked up at Tesco Inverurie. It pours lemony - gold with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is perfumed, fragrant, hay, white grape, gooseberry fool, crumble abd a touch of spice. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, straw, grass, hay, floral, pithy citrus, white grape skin, slightly soapy, cracker, peppery spice and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Nice and dry. A decent Brut.
