“She’s an easy lover,” so Phil Collins once said. And there’s nothing more lovable than this easy-drinking Pale Ale. We’ve brewed our bubbly Brut with champagne yeast to make it refreshing, light and spritzy. Perfect for a long summer’s day session.

Can split at L6 Tasting, thanks to Dave, 17/04/19. Hazed golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is pale malts, grassy, melon, tangerine, light hops. Taste comprises stoned fruits, floral notes, grass, melon, citric pith, orange zest, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Not bad.

Can from Tesco Supermarket, Borehamwood. Mildly hazed golden-blonde with a light carbonation. Hops, is slightly dry, the champagne yeast influence is evident in its hoppy lemon taste. Its lemon is more stated in its nose though.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale straw coloured pour with a thin white head and light carbonation; aroma of grapes and yeast; wine like taste, fresh and lively but without any obvious fizz; and a dry finish. A nice Brut IPA.

Can from Hogs Back brewery shop. Tart citrus and pine aroma. Hazy pale gold. Thick foamy white head. Light bitter. Followed by juicy sweet edged citrus. Crisp. Soda-esque into finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Low key fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Decent stuff. Dry but juicy.
