Draught @ Bar Oorlam, Hamburg. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of citrus and yeaast, with hoppy and malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with spicy and malty notes and estery and citric touches. Bitter and grassy aftertaste with estery notes. Quite nice for the style. I am not a great fan of strong lager but this one is more than just drinkable.

0.33 l bottle from 'Holy Craft Beer Store', best before June 2021. Almost clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral and gently grassy aroma of mango, orange jam and some fresh grass. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, fairly fruity-floral, gently resiny and a bit grassy taste of mango, orange jam and pine, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, quite herbal-resiny and slightly grassy and a little boozy finish. Full body, smooth and oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really intense and heavy beer with DIPA qualities, very tasty thick. Good!

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Grassy, piney and slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of pine, hints of lemon, orange, mandarine, a touch of lemon tea and marmalade. Taste is bitter, piney and citrusy hoppy, pale malty basis with minimal residual sweetness, bitter hoppy groundlayer, notes of lemon, mandarine and orange with zesty aspects atop; lingering, fruity hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and gentle carbonation. Almost IIPA-like, maybe still a little bit too ponderous and clumsy for the real Ale character, but well hopped, well balanced, well hidden alcohol, highly drinkable - very good stuff and carrying the right message in its name.

An interesting boozy beer. Strong, not super clean, like a strong belgian without the yeast esters. However it’s a nice strong sipper. Graeff hamburg

Shared with Beerhunter111 and Koelschtrinker. Mild fruity floral beginning. Cake and dough, moderate smooth fresh, grainy with slightly malty sweetish endings, not much bitterness in the aftertaste.

Alkoholisch getreidiger, herb hellmalziger Beginn. Die Getreidigkeit bleibt auffällig im Vordergrund, moderat hopfig, der Alkohol bleibt die ganze Zeit erkennbar. Mittellanger Abgang. 10/9/9/9/10/9

0.33 l bottle from Brolters, Bremen. Golden and nearly clear in the glass. Two white finger frothy head. Smells surprisingly floral hopy with intensive citrus. Taste starts nearly like an IPA with a lot of volume. Increasing tropical fruity with a decent bitterness. Hidden alcohol. Very low carbonated. But great stuff!
