Dose: Very deep amber coloured, presumably hazy, quite stable, quite creamy off-white head, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of milk-chocolate, cacao-powder and vanilla, shy traces of toasted malt underneath; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering sweet malty and chocolatey finish, a bit perfumed, with an increasing bitterness towards the very end. 330ml bottle. Hazy, darkest brwon colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of milk chocolate, vanilla, hints of dark chocolate, cocoa, a touch of chocolate yoghurt. Taste is dry and minimally sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty dark malty, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, vanilla, hints of yoghurt, a minimally fruity touch of strawberry. Nice.

Bottle from the brewery. Fruity woody nose. Very dry beginning, smooth with caramel and dry malt. Nice smooth dry sessionable body. Refreshing.

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a tan head. Aroma of sweet and dark malt, chocolate and some lactose. Taste of sweet chocolate, dark malt, vanilla and lactose.

Draught, 5.8% at KCBD19. Mild roasted aroma. Black colour, seems hazy. Small brown head. The flavour is roasted with a note of cold, not bitter, coffee. Slight sweetness, probably from lactose.
