Medium to heavy sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, oily/sticky texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, warming finish. Quite enjoyable.

Can purchased from Craftbeer-Shop.com Webshop, Parchim. I had this Friday 20th March 2020 at home Attenkirchen, listening to the 6Music and cooking Lamb Keema, Chicken Dhania and homemade Nan Bread. We have Kostas with us. Pours dark brown with a reddy hue in a certain light, large foamy head sits atop. Malt driven but with lots of other things going on, chocolate, caramel and a little burnt toffee. This is a very good Doppelbock, soft mouthfeel, a little creamy, there is a little bit of hedgerow berries. Nice

330ml bottle. Clear, dark brown colour with ruby glimmer and small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge. Taste is slightly dry, sweet-ish dark and caramel malty, hints of malt lozenge, grassy and minimally fruity, hoppy overtones with a touch of red berries.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of dark strong caramelized malt, chocolate and toffee. Taste of sweet caramelized dark malt, sweet chocolate, toffee. Quite nice!
