Flascherl (2,5 dl): Hazy, amber coloured, no head to speak of, distinctive sweet aroma of vanilla and wood, dried fruits and (dark?) malt, traces of pear-brandy well detectable, some boozy spots; solid sweet flavour, full bodied, tart; increasing tannic traces in the sweet fruity and caramelly finish. Sigh...

Bottle picked up from Liebick Getränke, Germering, consumed at home Attenkirchen Saturday 15th February 2020 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6Music and cooking Lamb and Sour Cherry Meatballs. Pours amber, good clarity, wow this has so much barrel ageing all over it, its Pear Brsndy'tastic' my brother would sell his wife and kids for this. Smooth, rich, a little boozy, lovely stuff.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Beer in the glass copper coloured, small head. Woody malty aroma, mild sweetness. Starts intense malty-woody, mild alcoholic notes, touch of vanilla. Light fruity notes of orange. Finish well balanced, warming-malty. Nice!

Shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Woody alcohol in the nose. Deep pear-spirit, round and smooth malt, caramel. Soft and intense deep, round and deep. Caramel, smooth, refreshing fruity, moderate bitter, round and great intense deep.

25cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet and strong caramelized malt, wood, oak. Taste of sweet caramelized malt, wood and oak.
