Bottle at home. Pours clear reddish copper with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark bread, some floral notes. Tastes bitter with some sweetness. Thin to medium bodied, slightly bitter finish. A good example for a North German altbier.

Many thanks to Holger. Dry malty beginning. Easy to drink, refreshing with a long deep dry malty aftertaste. Dry bitter, refreshing, Nice.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish golden beer with a beige head. Aroma of caramelized reddish malt, some nuts and mild resinous hops. Taste of mild caramelized malt, nuts, bread, some reddish fruits.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, light roasty. Mild bitterness in the background. Finish well balanced, dry-malty. Nice!

From the bottle. Brown with a sudsy, creamy head. Aroma is musty, old grass clippings, caramel. Taste is mildly bittersweet with a subtle underlying sour tinge, but overall rather empty. Body is to the light side of medium. Drinkable but not exactly enthralling.

Bottle from stall at Christmas market, Bremen. Hazy brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hay. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 141218

Collab brew from four breweries out of Bremen. The only bottled version so far, brewed at Brau Union Bremen. Unclear red brown in the glass with an huge beige head. Smells musty malty. Taste is malty, getting roasted, caramell in the background, some sourness, dry. Low bitterness.
