Bottle thanks to Peter and Eleni! Auburn with a frothy, white head. Roasted caramel aroma. Apples too. Taste is caramel sweet up front, bitterer at the back, both metallic and roasted. Uneventful finish with lingering caramel. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Simple, mainstream stuff. Decent.

Bottle at home. Pours almost clear dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark bread. Tastes bitter with quite some sweetness. Thin bodied, bitter finish. A bit too much caramel.

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass copper coloured, small head. Malty, light smokey aroma. Starts fine malty, light smokey touch, light sourish hints. Some fruity notes of peaches, apricot. Finish well balanced, grainy-malty, light sweetish. Interesting!

0,33 l bottle, normally only available at some tourist spots in Bremerhaven. Different recipe to their regular Rotbier as reported on the brewers FB site. Unclear pale amber in the glass, nearly two finger pale reddish head. Sweet malty smell with some hop. Taste stars with more straw than malt, mid bitterness. Hints of sourness. Pale grain. Mediocre stuff.
