During the 19th Century beers were exported to India, these were well hopped and of a high alcoholic strength to enable the beer to survive the long journey. They became known as India Pale Ale. In Celebration of our Anniversary we have created a beer in this style. Also available in bottles We have been celebrating after winning a Silver Award for our Thirst Celebration India Pale Ale . The beer was entered into the SIBA North West beer competition in the Premium Strong Beers category. Thirst Celebration is the perfect accompliment for cheese. Why not try our Brewers Lunch hamper with a local cheese especially chosen to be enjoyed with Thirst Celebration.

27/6/2020. Bottle from the brewery, and shared with the SHIG at the Cumbrian 20 bottle share. Pours clear pale amber with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, toffee, fruit, biscuit and touch of pine. Medium/plus sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, average carbonation. Sweet toffee finish, a little warming and boozy. Enjoyed this most than most it seems.
