500ml bottle from the Durham Brewery shop. Reddish orange-brown amber colour, frothy beige head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of caramel, toffee, fudge, earthy, yeasty. Taste is caramel, toffee, fudge, candy, fruity, orange citrus, spice, earthy bitter. Medium bodied, fine lively carbonation, dry tangy orangey bitter finish. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle from the brewery online shop, shared with AshtonMcCobb. Pours dark orange-brown, thin white head. Aromas are toffee, liquorice, citrus, earthy. A lot going on. Taste is all this and more, red fruit, biscuit, pithy orange bitter. Good stuff.

50cl bottle from the brewery. Appearance - dark brown with an orangey chink. Fluffy head. Nose - red fruits and toffee, biscuit edge. Taste - more red fruits, this time dominating the toffee and biscuits. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Very balanced. Overall - yeah, good ESB. Great malt bill mix!
