Cask at the califfo Irish pub in porretta Terme. Pours a clear amber with a thin pacing of white head. Aroma is malty and grassy, good old-fashioned English hops. Light to medium body. Flavour is malty and balanced, not watery at all, with a lovely light bitterness, lots of grassy and herbal hops notes. Finish is very grassy and bittersweet. Actually a lovely best bitter verging on an old school English IPA, very drinkable but packs a lot of flavour into a beer this sessionable. Very pleasant on a hot summer afternoon like today. This was a great positive surprise.

Draught @ Woolshed Aroma has odd bretta tones and fruitiness. Flavour has bretta, grapefruit, mild green apples. Tart finish. Probably not in a good shape.

Cask at the Head of Steam, Durham. Amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt & grain. Taste is malty, with some biscuit and tangy hop bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry metallic earthy bitter finish. Quite OK.
