The appearance of this exceptional beer is matched only by its taste! To make our Framboise, we add raspberry juice to our lambic. That gives it a delicate fruity aroma and a beautiful dark pink colour, just like the dress I wore to our cousin Willy's wedding. (But that's of no interest to you since you undoubtedly don't know Willy). Framboise is served as an aperitif, but I also use it in cooking. And when I don't finish the bottle in my preparations, I finish it in my glass.

Mixed review of bottle pour into tulip glass from Cigarette City and taster pour at Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Aroma is alternating tart and sweet of cranberries, raspberries, fruit, but more tart than sweet. Appearance is hazy red with minimal sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Taste is as aroma--reminds me a bit of cranraspberry drink, though a little more to the tart side. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture and average carbonation, crisp tart finish. Overall, I didn’t like the bottle I had--too tart--but the but found the taster pour to be much more balanced. Not too bad.

Bottle. Clear ruby pour with a pink head. Tons of raspberries in the nose, some raspberry jam and lactose. The taste is sweet with a low sourness. Refreshing, but a bit too sweet for its abv.

Multiple bottles over the years in the US and Japan. Simple but straightforward sweetened lambic. Nice strong raspberry nose. Sweet and tart raspberry on the palate. Well-carbonated. No funk or oaky notes, sweet on the palate. Finishes with a berry sweetness. Not as good as Boon’s, but still a fun introductory lambic I guess.

Bottle at home. Dark red with deep reddish pink head. Lots of frozen raspberries, raspberry syrup, berry pits, lots of sweet grain syrup, some red berries. Over medium sweet and light sour. Medium bodied with some fizzy carbonation. Not that bad.

Raspberry lemonade. Is this actually a beer?

Pours a hazy red colour with a foamy pink head, great retention and lacing. Raspberry aromas with some Belgian Ale yeast. The taste shows more the fruit with its sweetness, tartiness and sourness. Not too sweet though, to be too rich to drink. A very nice Belgian fruit brew for such a low alcohol content.

Bottle. Incredible amounts of raspberry, but also feels artificial and more like a syrup with bubbles instead of a beer. Not fond of this one.

Unclear deep red color with a pinkish head. Nice raspberry aroma. Quite decent body for a 2,5% alcohol beer. A fine carbonation and a good balance between sweetness and acidity. Raspberry champagne. Nice mellow and tasty raspberry flavor in this one.
