500ml bottle from Hartlepool Maritime Museum. Chestnut brown colour, beige foam head and aroma of malt, toffee, chocolate. Taste is malty, sweetish, brown sugar, biscuit & chocolate notes, some light roasted bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy roast bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
