Bottle at a Zizzis. Yellow in colour with plenty of fizz. Desert apple freshness, a touch of tart fruit, before some residual sugar and gentle finish. A solid cider.

330ml bottle from Zizzi restuarant, Canary Wharf London. Sparkling clear pale yellow colour, no head and fruity apple aroma. Sweet fruity apple taste, with straw, biscuity notes and some tartness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry crisp finish. Quite OK.

Bottle at Zizzis. Pours light yellow, expected a similarly light taste but found it very flavoursome with an intriguing desert apple taste and a little lemon juice. After the last Italian cider I had this took me by surprise. Would definitely have again.

33cl bottle from Zizzi restaurant in St Andrews. Pours an extremely pale colour with gentle bubbles and a tiny amount of head which quickly disappears. The nose is bone dry with only a hint of apples, it possibly resembles a bone dry wine more, in fact. The taste is very similar. The palate is light bodied with a bone dry middle section which continues all the way to the finish which is fairly persistent. Overall, this is quite dry and sour which grows the more you drink.
