Straight from the barrel @ Perry's Cider Farm, Ilminster. Pours a clear pale gold. Wild, sour apple fruit on the nose. Taste presents a biting astringency, soft tannin, confident acidity, high fruit content, drying close.

Draught at Great British Food Festival 2014, Harewood House. Orangey golden colour, no head and aroma of fruity apple. Taste is bittersweet apple, apple skins, oaky vanilla, barnyard, earthy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite OK.

From a polypin at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 23/07/09. A great dry cider - sour, with some apples in the background and a big, dry, barnyard finish. Great rustic stuff.
