Cask (William Jameson JDW, Sunderland) - Dark amber in colour. Peach, sultanas and biscuity malt in the aroma. Fruity taste with raisins, sultanas and caramel detected.

500ml bottle from Alnwick Castle shop. Deep amber colour, foamy white head and aroma of malt, floral citrus hop, blackcurrant. Sweetish biscuity malt taste with spicy blackcurrant notes and woody lingering bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask-conditioned at Three Judges, Glasgow 20/6/2013. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish, rather heavy malts, some hedgerow fruits and a lengthy, bitter finish. Fine.
