330ml bottle from Pilango online. Pours clear gold, small white ring atop that persists. Aroma is a touch syrupy, pear concentrate. Taste is similarly syrupy, sweet perry pear fruit, generally clean with no woody perry notes. Fine, if a little sweet.

330ml bottle from Master of Malt. Pale golden colour with a short-lived white foam head. Nose of pears, caramel. Taste is fruity, pear, sweet, melon, with some caramel, hay and white wine notes. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry and residual sweet finish. Quite OK.

(Bottle) Clear pale golden with perhaps a lime green tint, and no head. Pleasant aroma of tart apple / pear with a hint of funk and possibly wood. Light bodied with plenty of pleasant carbonation. Nice taste, a little sweet for me, but there’s enough else going on to make this in interesting drink. Starts of light and slightly tart, then develops in the mid palate plenty of fruit flavours, which knowing it is made of pears I can identify as pears, but would otherwise just be an interesting fruitiness. Following this the funky, woody notes make a subtle reappearance adding some class. I did catch those funky notes sometimes in the foretaste too. Overall very drinkable, but a touch too sweet.

Bottle 33 cl at Royal Albert Hotel, Sydney, on July 18, 2013.I accidentally rubbed off the BB date when getting rid of some condensation...Clear pear color, no head. Sweet, a bit tart, cidery, sort of vinous taste, hints of sulphides, more apple than pear to me. Fruity, dry aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel to a bit fizzy, pretty much no bitterness, but some fruit peel touch. Sweet, fruity scent.
