Cask at the Ealing Tavern. Deep orange amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of mango, earthy. Taste is malt, toffee, caramel, sweet, fruity, orange marmalade and resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, mellow warming bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

End of the Cask sample from the Rake. It pours cloudy bright orange with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, juicy, stewed orange, tangerine and marmalade. The taste is bitter - sweet, juicy, grassy, earthy, spice, stewed orange and some alcohol. Medium body body and fine carbonation. I was worried this was going to be a bit too sweet, but the balance works out pretty good.
