Our naturally fermented cider is a refreshing, lightly sparkling drink with a long maturation to give a smoother complexion than most commercial ciders. It is light and fruity to taste, with more complex flavours developing. Great head for a bottled cider. Clean light nose with a refreshing, crunchy palate. This is a well balanced cider with easy appley flavours.

Average appearance. Overripe apple aroma with hints of solvents. Flavor isn’t bad. Not too sweet, just solid workaday cider. Good body. Ok finish.

Box @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Clear yellow coloured cider. Slightly dry, but always crisp, with an interesting spirit-like apple fruitiness.

BIAB at William Stead JDW Darlington. Yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam head and juicy apple aroma. Taste is fruity apple, mellow juicy, sugary sweet with some slight apple skin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dryish and residual sweet at the finish. Quite OK.

Bottle, smallish bubbly head, clear deep yellow color, aroma of candy, honey and wax with light apple notes, flavor of honey and very ripe apples, very sweet but not cloying. Could use some sourness to counterbalance the sweetness but still quite delicious.

Okay, shifting to a cider tonight.
This was poured into my wine glass (as always).
The appearance was extremely light and golden clear with a vast array of carbonated bubbles flying skyward towards the top of the glass.
There’s no head and no lacing, but I think I’m starting to understand that’s okay for a cider.
The smell had a decent floral but slight honey character going on. The apple is there and has a decent tartness to it.
The taste was sweet.
On the palate, this was fairly harsh (coming across like wine - uh oh), and it sat fairly light on the body with a fair sessionability about it.
Overall, okay cider, honestly, I’m still trying to figure this out since its not a real beer. For this one, I think I’d have this again.
